This article highlights the participation of Romanian artist Nicole Jutka in an international art exhibition and auction organized by Renaissance Art by Guy Kalfon in August 2024 at the Riviera Golf – Domaine de Barbossi in Mandelieu-La Napoule, near Cannes. Under the event theme “Odă femeii” (Ode to Woman), Jutka showcased several original oil paintings, notably two works from her “Pray, Love, Peace” series titled “Garden of Light” and “Garden of Wishes,” alongside pieces named “Just The way you are” and “Happy roaster.” Her work is noted for exploring contrasts between light and dark using vivid colors and fluorescent pigments that produce striking dimensions under black light. The exhibition, which featured a wider collection of antique jewelry, 18th-century furniture, contemporary paintings, sculptures, and photographs, serves as a backdrop to celebrate high-achieving Romanians abroad, connecting Jutka’s international recognition to the broader “Top 100 Români de Pretutindeni” initiative spearheaded by the RePatriot movement.
